Willow Cottage is a traditional terraced cottage in the picturesque village of Buchlyvie set in the heart of the countryside 15 miles west of the historic city of Stirling. Buchlyvie is a small village adjacent to Aberfoyle and The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park which offers visitors a vast range of things to see and do in this most scenic part of Scotland.
Buchlyvie makes and ideal base for exploring The National Park by car, on foot or by bike. The Cottage is located near to the link cycle path which joins The National Cycle Route 7, a long distance cycle route which passes through the park. If you are a walker then we are not far from many long distance routes such as The West Higland Way, The Rob Roy Way and the John Muir coast to coast walk.
The Historic City of Stirling with its impressive castle is just a short distance away and is a great day out for sightseeing and retail therapy. A bus passes by the cottage if you prefer not to drive. The views from The Castle are breathtaking and highly recommended.
Willow Cottage has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 persons in a newly restored traditional cottage with a large safe rear garden to relax in. Walkers, cyclists and anglers are most welcome and we have safe secure storage for cycles and outdoor equipment.
Glynis and Richard look forward to welcoming you to Willow Cottage
